Sesiwn Arbennig yn Hafan Gwydir

I gloi’r tymor, gwnaethom gynnal sesiwn arbennig Dwylo Bach yn Hafan Gwydir, llety byw annibynnol i pobl hyn. Gwnaethom wahodd plant ifanc i chwarae ac ymgysylltu â’r preswylwyr am fore llawn llawenydd a dysgu. Roedd y sesiwn hon, wedi’i hysbrydoli gan y bocs atgofion, wedi’i dylunio i fanteisio y cyfranogwyr ifanc a hŷn, gan greu amgylchedd unigryw ar gyfer rhyngweithio a dysgu ar y cyd.

Special intergenerational Session at Hafan Gwydir

To conclude the term, we hosted a special Dwylo Bach session at Hafan Gwydir, an independent living accommodation for older people. We invited young children to play and engage with the residents for a morning filled with joy and learning. This session, inspired by the reminiscent box, was designed to benefit both young and senior participants, creating a unique environment for shared interaction and learning.

We are back @mostyngallery Llandudno on Friday the 17th of April, from 10.30am until 12pm. Book your place now via the Mostyn website. These sessions are designed for children aged 0-4. Full of open ended play, to keep young minds curious and engaged in creativity! Come and join us we’d love to see you there!
Our next session will be inspired by the Welsh Artist Paul Eastwood. 🤩

Ruthin Craft Centre has just opened their new exhibitions this weekend. We can’t wait to go and explore and translate into rich environments for little artists aged 0-4 to engage and play with during our Dwylo Bach sessions at the Centre after the Easter break. Here is a sneaky peak of Jane Perryman’s new body of work in gallery 2, called the ‘Meadow.’

Rydyn ni’n ôl yfory yn Storiel. Dyma beth wnaethon ni’r tro diwethaf. Os ydych chi’n meddwl y bydd eich plentyn ifanc yn mwynhau ein sesiynau creadigol, beth am archebu lle ar ein sesiwn nesaf ar ôl gwyliau’r Pasg drwy wefan Storiel. Mae ein sesiynau am ddim ond mae angen i chi archebu lle yn gyflym gan fod y lleoedd yn mynd yn gyflym. Gobeithio eich gweld chi’n fuan!

We are back tomorrow at Storiel. Here is what we did last time. If you think your young child will enjoy our Dwylo Bach sessions, why not book onto our next session after the Easter break via Storiel’s website. Our sessions are free but you do need to book onto them fast as they soon get snapped up. Hope to see you soon!

As we draw towards end of term, why not join us for one last session before the Easter Holidays. Here is where we are this week.

What a lovely morning we had at the family center Llanrwst, thank you all for coming. The Dwylo Bach baby session will stop for a while but hopefully will return to Llanrwst in the near future. Not to worry, our monthly Wednesday morning sessions will continue on until the summer. We are back tomorrow at the family centre with more creative activities for children aged 0-4.

Dyma gipolwg ar yr hyn a wnaethom yn Storiel ddoe gyda’n sesiwn Dwylo Bach i babanod a phlant bach. Wedi’i ysbrydoli gan gasgliad yr amgueddfa o ddeunyddiau gwerthfawr. Yn cyfieithu i leoedd sgleiniog, disglair, gweadog a golau i blant blynyddoedd cynnar eu harchwilio ac ymgysylltu â nhw. Nid ydych chi byth yn rhy ifanc i ddysgu am gelf ac arteffactau hanesyddol fel mae’r sesiwn hon yn ei ddangos. 🤩

Here is a sneeky peek to what we got up to at Storiel yesterday with our Dwylo Bach session for children aged 0-4. Inspired by the museum collection of precious materials. Translating into shiny, sparkley, textured and light spaces for early years children to explore and engage with. You are never too young to learn about art and historical artefacts, as this session clearly demonstrates. 🤩
