Activity coordinators and care staff in care homes do incredible work every day, bringing creativity, engagement, and joy to residents’ lives. Making Sense is excited to offer a new project to support you — the people who support others — across Conwy, Denbighshire, and Flintshire.
We’re inviting care homes to get involved and join this growing network of activity coordinators. Together, we’ll explore new ways to bring creativity, inspiration, and support into your roles.
Here’s what we have planned:
-
A supportive network for activity coordinators to share experiences, ideas, and encouragement.
-
A regular newsletter with practical tips, creative ideas, and useful resources to help plan activities.
-
Network meetings where you can meet fellow coordinators, share ideas, support each other, and take part in creative activities yourself.
-
Creative training days built around themes suggested by you.
-
Mentoring from professional creative practitioners to support your own creative activities.
-
Free resources and materials to help bring your ideas to life.
If you’re an activity coordinator in a residential care home working with older people in Conwy, Denbighshire, or Flintshire, we’d love to hear from you! Get in touch to join the network and be part of a community that celebrates creativity, connection, and care.
